BEYONCE. The ticket office for Beyoncé’s concerts in France, on the occasion of her “Renaissance Tour”, opened this Tuesday, February 7.

[Updated February 07, 2023 at 4:26 p.m.] The fans were there: in a few minutes, all the tickets for Beyoncé’s two concerts in France, one in Paris, the other in Marseille, were sold out. Good news for the star and her teams, bad news for the (many) people who failed to obtain the precious sesame that would allow them to applaud the singer at the Stade de France and the Vélodrome.

Especially since, despite rumors and hopes, there will be no other concert announced in Paris. “Unfortunately, we weren’t able to do two Stades de France with Beyoncé because of the SNCF works on Saturday…”, explains Angelo Gopee of Live Nation, interviewed by Pure Chart.

The enthusiasm was to be expected: on social networks, the enthusiasm and expectation of Beyoncé fans has not waned since the announcement of these two event concerts, on the occasion of the American star’s Renaissance Tour. So on Twitter, fans of Queen B are euphoric or disappointed, with many expressing their frustration at not having been able to win a precious ticket.

“The demand for Beyoncé was again huge this morning, and the available tickets are now sold out”, can we also read on the Ticketmaster site, arousing a wave of criticism from Internet users, deploring the difficulty of buying tickets, with some claiming a second date in each city.

Tickets for Beyoncé’s two concerts, in Paris and Marseille, were on sale at all the usual outlets, such as:

Our tips for getting a ticket: don’t trust certain indications of “sold out” tickets, refresh the page several times. Do not hesitate to open several tabs, on different points of sale sites. You can also open the point of sale site in private browsing.

The ticket office having been stormed by Beyoncé fans, it will now be possible to return to (official and serious) ticket resale sites, in particular Ticketswap or Zepass. Beware of scams and fake sellers. Also note that tickets can only be downloaded a few days before the concert: if a reseller offers them to you now, it’s a scam.

On Wednesday February 1, the American superstar formalized, after weeks of speculation, his new world tour, baptized Renaissance, named after his last album released last July, and scheduled for 2023. In Europe, this Renaissance Tour will lead the interpreter of Break My Soul from Stockholm in Sweden in May, to New Orleans at the end of September. Beyoncé will be in France for two concerts: May 26 at the Stade de France in Paris, then June 11 at the Vélodrome de Marseille.

If fans’ expectations are so high, it’s because Beyoncé hasn’t toured since 2018 and On the Run, with her husband Jay-Z, who took her to North America and Europe, with two exceptional concerts at the Stade de France (remember, the World Cup final…) and in Nice.

Recently, Beyoncé had rather talked about her for a controversial concert organized in a luxury hotel in Dubai. A show that had aroused the anger of the LGBTQI community, traditionally supported by Queen B, because of the draconian laws of the emirate. “An album specially dedicated to his gay uncle to end up performing in Dubai in one of the most LGBTphobic countries in the world where homosexuality remains theoretically punishable by death”, reacted Sébastien Tüller, LBGTI manager for Amnesty International. France.

A few minutes after the formalization of Beyoncé’s world tour scheduled for 2023, the dates were revealed on the artist’s website. Here are all the European Renaissance dates:

It was the release of summer 2022, if not the year: that of Beyoncé’s new album, dubbed Renaissance and released on Friday, July 29, 2022. Despite its leak on social media 48 hours before its release, fans have held on and waited for D-Day to discover Queen B’s 16 new tracks. “The album leaked, but you waited for the real release, to enjoy it all together. I’ve never seen anything like it”, is also delighted the star on Twitter.

Renaissance therefore has 16 unreleased tracks, dance music atmosphere, carried by the already released single Break My Soul. We discover here a Beyoncé all in electro, with productions, once again, impeccable. Many are the danceable pieces, the hits in the making and the vocal performances on the agenda. Something to delight his admirers, who are thousands to rave about Renaissance on social networks.

“The transitions? The vocals? The perfect productions? B. didn’t come back to do the extras. Very ambitious project, very worked. Ethics drives me absolutely crazy”, writes for example a fan on Twitter, while another adds: “I was never part of the

Renaissance is Beyoncé’s seventh album, announced only on June 16 and introduced by a first single, Break My Soul, released on June 21. A first unreleased for six years and the last solo album of the American singer, Lemonade. Renaissance has 16 songs. A mention, “Act 1”, also suggests that this disc is only the first part of Beyoncé’s new project.

The Renaissance album is made up of electro and country songs, developed in collaboration with songwriter Ryan Tedder, who has worked with Adele, Tawlor Swift or the Jonas Brothers. According to tabloid The Sun, Beyoncé “wrote all the songs during the pandemic, when she was desperate and desperate to be on stage and with her fans.” The same source specifies that “this album and the promotion will be the most interactive since the beginning of her career, because she wants to reach out to the fans.”

A few days before the release of the Renaissance album, Beyoncé unveiled the list of songs that make up this disc, of which here are the details:

Prior to the release of Renaissance, Beyoncé unveiled the first song from her new project on June 21, 2022. A very electro title called Break My Soul, released almost by surprise since the singer had simply written on social networks the enigmatic phrase “6. BREAK MY SOUL midnight ET”, implying that something was brewing.

Finally, the song Break My Soul was published around four in the morning, French time, on the YouTube channel of Queen B. Just a few hours after its release, the video has been viewed some 1.3 million times… Proof of the expectation of the fans.
