For the protesters, the social movement has taken a new turn since last week; the adoption of the text and Emmanuel Macron’s rejection of any modification of this reform gave a new dimension to the protest: it is now for the demonstrators to show that a step back is still possible.
If the executive relies on a breathlessness of the movement and on social weariness, it is also necessary to take into account the violent outbursts – marginal but increasingly present in the demonstrations.
