HERITAGE LOTTO. For the sixth consecutive year, the Française des Jeux and the Mission Stéphane Bern via the Heritage Foundation have renewed their initiative to save 18 emblematic sites in mainland France and overseas.

[Updated March 28, 2023 at 3:03 p.m.] On the initiative of host Stéphane Bern, the Loto du Patrimoine offers to finance the restoration of French historical monuments in danger. This operation called “Heritage Mission” takes the form of a scratch game and lotto created by the Française des jeux. Since the first edition, the Heritage Mission has enabled the restoration of 762 sites, including 108 emblematic regional heritage projects and 654 departmental sites.

Religious, cultural, agricultural or industrial buildings from different eras, considered “emblematic sites” of our real estate heritage, 18 monuments in danger have been selected by the Ministry of Culture this March to be helped as a priority via future receipts of the Loto du patrimoine 2023 which will be launched at the start of the school year in September 2023. The amount of the endowment for each site will be announced during the next European Heritage Days. Check them out in pictures below:
