The king of survival-zombies is back in a more modern version than ever, offering us to rediscover his wacky universe, his enjoyable gameplay and his brutal story in a completely new second part. Pillar of the survival horror genre in cooperation, Dead Island has convinced by its quirky spirit and its deeply enjoyable gameplay. Dead Island 2 does not intend to move away from these principles and will offer a survival game and zombies like Deep Silver has the gift of doing them. Crafting, looting, skill trees, everything will be there to offer the player a little taste of the original Dead Island, in a modernized version of course. In addition, Deep Silver revealed its game in detail via a fairly extensive gameplay trailer, released by IGN recently.
As a surprise announcement for the opening night of Gamescom 2022, Deep Silver and Dambuster finally presented us with the long-awaited Dead Island 2, through a gameplay trailer that surprised us with its graphic quality and… announcement of a release date. And yes, you are not dreaming, Dead Island 2 is scheduled for April 21, an output that will be found directly on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series and Xbox One. It would therefore seem that the development nightmare is entirely over for Deep Silver, while fans are happy to reconnect with a license that has proven its worth.
