[Updated November 03, 2022 at 2:03 p.m.] After six years of absence, the return of Louise Attaque. The group, formed by Gaëtan Roussel, Arnaud Samuel and Robin Feix, publishes, this Friday, November 4, 2022, its fifth album called Planète Terre. 25 years after their very first album, Louise Attaque, the trio published their first single, Sortir de l’ordinary, in September, which is one of the eleven unreleased tracks on Planète Terre.
For this album, Louise Attaque called on Chad Blake, who has worked with Arctic Monkeys, Pearl Jam and Black Keys, among others. “It’s a chance that he accepted our request. He gave a rather rock and raw color to the album. And he gave us energy”, underlined in September Gaëtan Roussel at Parisian. The idea for this new album was born in recent months, when Louise Attaque, the group’s first album, celebrated its 25th birthday last April, with six concerts on the same day.
“We have matured, acquired experience, good for us. During the first sessions, the watchword was to insist, to mix, to come back to it, within the time constraint that we had set ourselves. We had tenfold tenacity and desire. We came out of the studio with the material for eleven tracks, with the warm sound we wanted, but it lacked a bit of sparkle. Gaspard Murphy (Eliott Murphy’s son) and Arthur Revé brought it to us”, adds Arnaud Samuel in the columns of the same newspaper.
