BOOBA. In his war against those he calls “influencers”, rapper Booba attacks former reality TV candidate Dylan Thiry, whom he accuses of pimping, racism and child trafficking.

After Magali Berdah and many of those he calls “influencers”, Booba attacks Dylan Thiry. For several days, the rapper, on Twitter, has made a point of denouncing the alleged actions of the influencer, a former reality TV candidate who made his debut in 2017 on the show Koh Lanta, on TF1.

In leather moccasins in the sand, Dylan Thiry was already talking about him. Since then, the 28-year-old has appeared in several French reality TV programs, including La Villa des Cœursbrokens on TFX, Les Marseillais VS le reste du monde or Les Princes et des princesses de l’amour, on W9.

Since these appearances on the small screen, it is as an influencer that Dylan Thiry has continued to be talked about, especially for his humanitarian commitment. It is on this point that the rapper Booba attacked him, accusing him of making the buzz on the populations he is supposed to help, as in Turkey and Syria after the earthquake in 2023, or in Madagascar.

On social networks, rapper Booba, with the AVI Collective, to help victims of influencers, shared several audios that he claims to be those of Dylan Thiry. In these recordings, the influencer would explain his project of “virtual pimping”, by becoming “mac du MYM” (a social network where people can monetize videos and photos, content often accused of being pornographic).

“The chicks here in Dubai (…) most of the chicks are whores (…). And there’s a way to get them out of that, to stop being a whore, c is to create a MYM. That means that the whore, she earns less than 20,000 euros per month (…). So, the whore is recruited. We make her do a MYM (…) and we give him 20%”, can we hear for example in one of the audios broadcast on Twitter by Booba.

In addition to these accusations of virtual pimping, the Duke accuses Dylan Thiry of racism – by broadcasting other audios which would prove it -, but also of child trafficking in Madagascar. In another recording that he attributes to the influencer, we hear the latter explain his plan to charge “100,000 euros, minimum”, to Jazz de la JLC Family, another French reality TV personality based in Dubai and since influencer.

“I make sure they (Jazz and her husband Laurent) ask for 100,000 euros, minimum, it’s really the minimum and I tell them ‘come to Madagascar’ and they give me 100K and I do everything so that they can adopt and suddenly, save a child”, can we hear in the recording.

On social networks, since May 2022 The Duke of Boulogne has embarked on a crusade against reality TV influencers and their product placements, but also (and above all) against the agent of many of them, Magali Berdah, head of Shauna Events. The latter filed a complaint against the French rapper at the end of May for cyberbullying, before he did the same for slanderous denunciations, denouncing “a very lucrative system organized by Ms. Berdah: promotion of more or less dubious commercial operations, obsessive incitement to cosmetic surgery and highlighting personalities from reality TV linked to court cases.”

But the case does not end there, in addition to the battle on social networks, which has become legal, Booba’s attacks against influencers and Magali Berdah have not stopped. Quite the contrary. The Duke of Boulogne, using his 5.7 million Twitter followers, called “raptis” (pirates in verlan), continues to denounce the product placements of influencers, whom he has dubbed “influencers.” With a lot of mocking tweets, hijackings and going so far as to publish the address or the telephone number of Magali Berdah. The latter says she has since been the victim of death threats and anti-Semitic insults. On June 2, 2022, she had obtained the suspension of Booba’s Instagram account.

But the rapper is not giving up and has also launched an email address to collect testimonials from buyers of products sold by influencers. The rapper points to “dropshipping”, the practice of reselling a more expensive product imported from Asia. The case will also be raised to the highest levels of the State: Bruno Le Maire, Minister of the Economy, denounced on Twitter these “online scams”, which he invites to report. In addition to Magali Berdah, Booba regularly attacks other influencers from French reality TV, in particular Maeva Ghennam or Illan.
