Disney has decided to remove many programs from its streaming platform this week, including some very popular with subscribers.

Disney has decided to clean up its content. According to information from Deadline dated May 18, 2023, the streaming platform will get rid of programs, coming from Hulu but not only. The information would have been revealed during a telephone conference on the results of the studios, on May 10.

Dozens of series and programs are concerned, especially in France. This drastic decision by Disney was reportedly made to reduce costs and loss of subscribers. In the last quarter of 2022, the streaming platform would have lost nearly 2.4 million subscribers worldwide.

Among the programs set to leave Disney’s catalog are the Willow series and its making-of. The Only Iavan, Marvel Hero Project, Bigshot, Artemis Fowl or Stargirl would also be affected by this measure.
