[Updated June 5, 2023 at 11:34 a.m.] Four SNCF unions (CGT Cheminots, UNSA-Ferroviaire, SUD-Rail and CFDT Cheminots) are calling for a general strike against the pension reform this Tuesday, June 6, two days before the June 8 vote in the National Assembly on a bill to reverse the postponement of the retirement age to 64.
Traffic is generally slightly disrupted with 9 trains out of 10 on average at the national level on SNCF’s main and medium line trains (TGV, Intercités, TER). On the Transilien, some slight disruptions are announced.
“The circulation of SNCF Voyageurs trains will be very slightly disrupted on Tuesday June 6 due to the national interprofessional social movement, with 9 out of 10 trains in circulation on a national average and some possible adaptations on certain lines,” SNCF told AFP.
