Arnold Schwarzenegger is everywhere on Netflix: in the action series Fubar, but also in a three-part documentary, titled Arnold, available since June 7. The actor and former governor of California details his professional career, but also his private life… and what he himself calls one of his personal “failures”. Accused by six women of touching in 2003, the actor, then in the electoral campaign, had denied in block. He apologizes today and admits what he did was “wrong”.
But that’s not the only thing he says he regrets in the Netflix documentary. Arnold Schwarzenegger makes revelations about his long-hidden son, Joseph Baena. While the now 75-year-old actor was married to Maria Shriver (from 1986 to 2011), he had an affair with her domestic worker, Mildred Baena, in 1996. From this affair was born, in the biggest secret, their son, now 25 years old.

In the documentary, the actor known for his role in Terminator looks back on a couples therapy session with his ex-wife in 2011, during which she asks him frontally if he is the father of their employee’s child. . “I felt like my heart had stopped,” recalls Arnold Schwarzenegger. “And then I told him the truth: ‘Yes, Maria. Joseph is my son.’ Obviously it devastated her.”
The information then ends up leaking to the media, scratching the reputation of the former governor of California. “I’ve hurt my family enough because of my bullshit. Because of it all, everyone has suffered: Maria, the kids, Joseph…everyone. It’s a huge failure. I I’ll have to live with this for the rest of my life.”
Today, despite the divorce, Arnold Schwarzeneger claims to still maintain a good relationship with his children, Joseph included, but also with his ex-wife Maria Shriver.
