Ezra Miller stars in DC Comics’ latest superhero movie, which hits theaters this Wednesday, June 14, 2023. At the heart of several controversies, he keeps a low profile during promotion.

Rarely has a star in a blockbuster of such magnitude as The Flash been so discreet during the promotion of his film. The feature film directed by Andy Muschietti is released this Wednesday, June 14, 2023 and Ezra Miller, the interpreter of the fastest man in the DCU, has made himself extremely small. The star of the film simply made a whirlwind appearance on the red carpet at the feature film’s premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, June 12.

It must be said that Ezra Miller has been in turmoil for several years and has had a series of controversies. Back in 2011, on the set of Charlie’s World, The Flash star (who identifies as non-binary and uses the pronoun iel) was charged with drug possession. Also in 2020, The Flash lead singer was filmed strangling and pinning a woman to the ground in a bar in Iceland. Interpretations differ then, some Internet users evoking a game with a fan, others an attack.

In the spring of 2022, Ezra Miller was arrested in Hawaii on suspicion of assault. The artist is accused of throwing a chair in the face of a 26-year-old woman at a karaoke bar. He was then ordered to pay a fine of 500 dollars. But that’s not all: In June 2022, 29-year-old Ezra Miller received two restraining orders prohibiting him from approaching an 18-year-old girl (whom he allegedly came into contact with when she was not was only 12) and a 12-year-old child.

Finally, in August 2022, The Flash star was arrested in connection with a burglary that occurred three months earlier at a residence in Stamford (Vermont, USA). The actor is accused of having stolen bottles of alcohol while taking advantage of the absence of the owner of the residence. Faced with all these controversies, Ezra Miller said in a press release that he “started receiving treatment” to help him with his “complex mental health problems”.
