Cybertek offers the Inferno i7. A PC dedicated to gaming and powered by a graphics card from Nvidia, the RTX 4070 Ti. We were able to test this machine for several weeks and here is our test.

Cybertek is a company of tech enthusiasts who design and sell computers dedicated to video games. With a great community on social networks and quite impressive products, the firm offers us this time the PC Cybertek Inferno i7 during a test. This tower, with a resolutely gaming design, has in particular attractive components designed to support many games in a beautiful image quality. Neither one nor two, we wanted to challenge the Cybertek Inferno i7 PC on several games and reviews, and we were not disappointed.

The least that can be said about the appearance of the Inferno i7 is that its case exudes gaming. The tower has a completely black case with a few small touches of red on some sides. The front panel has a small grille that lets the fans glimpse, which is ideal when the latter start up with a backlight.

The case of the Inferno i7 has a window that allows you to admire the different components that make up your configuration. You will have no trouble quickly identifying the fans, the graphics cards, etc… The latter opens very easily in order to quickly access the various components of the computer, which is very practical for accessing the computer. inside the box. Also note that some elements are backlit according to the color you desire. Enough to impress those around you with each ignition!

Cybertek had the good idea to offer a box with multiple connectors accessible on the top of the box. You will find two Jack ports for your headphones and microphone, two USB-A ports and a USB-C port in addition to the power button and the box light color control button.

With its many fans and integrated Nvidia graphics card, the Inferno i7 case weighs heavy. Its weight is well distributed, however, if you ever need to move the tower with you. Also note that the PC case is not the smallest, which may need to be taken into account in your configuration.

Note that our test copy had a special engraving for the release of the Diablo IV game. The PC sold by Cybertek does not have this customization in its basic version.

The Cybertek site offers several customization options when you choose to crack the Inferno PC. It is possible to adjust the price of your order by choosing other components more or less powerful than the basic ones. The options are multiple and allow for example to remove the operating system, to start on an i5 processor rather than an i7, to select another box, etc, etc… A good idea which does not however offer many options. ‘options (no other processor than the Intel brand and no other graphics card than an Nvidia for example).

If these options are very interesting for having your own personalized PC, they find even more meaning with the burning option offered by Cybertek. As long as the model chosen is compatible (as is the case for the Inferno), it is possible to engrave the case of your PC in your image by adding the logo and/or the text of your choice. A great idea unfortunately too little put forward on the site (we had to search a little before finding the page dedicated to engraving) and which will cost you the trifle of 50 euros.

Now let’s get to the heart of the matter: the performance of the Inferno i7. The Cybertek teams have been busy offering components that will delight gaming enthusiasts. Here are some of the features found in our review copy of the Inferno i7:

The most passionate will surely recognize some of these components. The latter, on paper, promise to deliver great performance… Which we obviously wanted to check!

We conducted several test sessions on more or less resource-intensive games (Resident Evil Village, Genshin Impact, Fortnite, The Witcher 3, Diablo IV…). On all of our tests, we pushed these games with the graphics set to “Ultra” as well as enabling (when possible) various graphics options like RTX or Nvidia’s DLSS which improve the graphics of your games.

Here is the table of our different performances within the titles tested with the graphics set to Ultra:

We observe here that the performances are excellent. All games with an FPS limit reach the latter without difficulty. The other titles that don’t have an FPS limit manage to have a very high frame rate.

If we therefore have very good performances, these are not at the expense of over-use of components. We did not observe any particular heating inside the case of our test copy, and this, but when we launched several games with the graphics fully. What reassure us about the life of the PC!

Let’s quickly talk about PC noise. We pushed our test model to the limit by launching multiple games and content streams at the same time. When the Cybertek Inferno is put to the test, these fans are rather vocal, but nothing that prevents you from enjoying your favorite games to the full or tackling an office session that requires concentration. When used “normally”, the noise of the Cybertek Inferno remains barely audible. If you’re used to pairing your gaming sessions with a gaming headset, you shouldn’t even hear the fans purring!

A very good case, multiple connections, quiet fans, good performance… All this is fine, but is the Inferno PC from Cybertek still worth its price? Sold from 2299 euros on the site, the Inferno clearly represents a cost. We therefore wanted to check that our readers were getting their money’s worth! To answer this problem, we went to the competition side by mounting our gaming PC ourselves with the same components as those integrated into our test model.

The observation is clear: by wanting to mount the same configuration on other sites, we always arrive at a higher price than at Cybertek. The difference can vary from 100 to 400 euros depending on the site you choose and the components which may be unavailable from one distributor to another.

The result is therefore excellent value for money for the Inferno PC from Cybertek. Our colleagues from Phonandroid have also compared several other configurations offered on the site with the same observation: the prices charged by the brand seem well below what is done by the competition.

It’s hard to find anything bad to say about Cybertek’s Inferno PC. Equipped with powerful components and capable of delivering high performance in game, our test copy will have seduced us by managing to make us (re) discover certain titles with high-end graphics.

Although it is quite imposing, the Cybertek Inferno has enough arguments to seduce gamers wishing to equip themselves with a reliable and efficient machine. If its rather high price can put off (2299 euros on the site), it turns out to be very fair compared to the components offered and the current competitive offer.

We can complain about a little lack of customization in the components of the machine as well as a little noise coming from the fans when the latter is a little too busy, but overall, the Cybertek Inferno stands out as an excellent choice for gamers wishing to have a powerful machine with a good quality/price ratio.
