A 53-year-old woman of German nationality says she has been kidnapped and tortured by her husband since 2011. On Sunday August 6, the police found him in Forbach (Moselle). Her husband was taken into custody.

D ‘After information from BFMTV and RMC, the 53-year-old woman managed to steal a phone and immediately contacted German emergency services. The latter then warned the departmental directorate of public security of the Moselle, which instructed a team of police officers to intervene on the scene.

On the spot, the police found the alleged victim locked in a room, naked, the head shaved and presenting numerous wounds and signs of malnutrition. She was taken to the emergency room. Inside their home, all the rooms were screened and a torture bench was found. These elements would indicate that the German national was therefore tortured, a police source told AFP.

The husband is a 55-year-old man of German nationality. He was arrested by the police on Monday August 7, around 6 a.m., and taken into custody. A flagrant investigation for kidnapping, aggravated rape and acts of torture and barbarity has been opened. According to AFP, quoted by Le Parisien, the 50-year-old is unknown to the police.
