During the night from Friday to Saturday, residents of the Beaudottes district were surprised by bursts of gunfire from automatic weapons. A source close to the investigation told the news site that emergency services had intervened on Avenue Dumont-d’Urville to treat four seriously injured people. Among the victims, three were transported to hospital in absolute emergency and the last was slightly injured.
According to initial information, two individuals were behind the shooting. One is said to have fired several times around 11:45 p.m., near a cultural center, before fleeing with his partner in a Peugeot 5008.
Stéphane Blanchet, mayor of this town of Seine-Saint-Denis, pointed out the responsibility for “trafficking, [de] dirty money from the drug economy” in a press release published on the State to put in place “action” and to demonstrate its “determined, long-term commitment to our cities, with financial and human resources commensurate with the challenge”.
