While she was general director of the FFT, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra received several tens of thousands of euros for her participation in meetings of the board of directors of a Lyon group.
The Plastic Omnium group highlights its remarkable assiduity: from 2014 to 2022, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra served on the board of directors and the accounts committee of this Lyon company specializing in automobile body parts, reports La Tribune de Lyon. The current Minister of National Education and Sports was then general director of the French Tennis Federation. But his attendance at meetings may not have been entirely disinterested, according to the group’s annual reports.
Thus, in 2021 alone, Plastic Omnium indicates having paid 53,000 euros to Amélie Oudéa-Castéra. This sum paid for his participation in five boards of directors and three accounts committees. A nice additional salary for someone who already received a gross annual salary of 500,000 euros at the FFT.
Rebelotte at the start of 2022: that year, Oudéa-Castéra received 20,000 euros from the Lyon company for three meetings, before joining the government in May.
In internal documents of the group, it justifies its participation by “its managerial and operational experience acquired throughout its career as well as its skills in the field of finance but also in that of digital and innovation techniques” . Before entering politics, in fact, “AOC” was a senior civil servant at the Court of Auditors then a strategic advisor within the Axa group.
