The Geretsrieder fire Department was not involved on the roofs shoveling. There was criticism. It had a simple reason for this. The commander in the Interview.

Machowski: I can draw in Geretsried on 96 use of force, but only on paper. Some may not be able to due to family or professional reasons. Machowski: partly Yes, partly no. The home owners among us were quite happy, because they had to care for their own interests.
