In Melchsee-Frutt, Central Switzerland (Canton of Obwalden) won the 24-Year-old from SC Leitzachtal the second European Cup Slalom of her career, in the other races they drove to the second place. “You don’t know in advance to hold on to, when it schnackelt,” says Schmotz.

Exactly is in Melchsee-Frutt happened. “I knew that I had sections of good part, I was not able to implement it, but on the entire run,” says the Fischbachauerin. In the case of the two Slaloms in Switzerland and also previously in two European Cup giant slalom, in which she was Fourth and Seventh, managed Schmotz. “I got the runs.”

In the second race Schmotz increased once again, she won with 53 hundredths of a second ahead of the Italian-Lara Della Mea. “Wow, what a week,” was her comment on Facebook after the four Top results in Slalom and giant slalom.

Up to the beginning of this week, trained Schmotz on the domestic Sudelfeld, where the last FIS-slalom were held. “The track was well prepared,” she says. Then it was on to Austria. In St. Lambrecht in Styria, the Fischbachauerin is now preparing for the next world Cup. In the Slovenian city of Maribor for a giant slalom and Saturday’s Slalom in are on Friday. Maybe it will work with world Cup points.
