– What I think is Siv Jensen now is concerned is to highlight as clearly as it gets, opposite their own, that she is not to let the Left dictate the party’s immigration policy, says Magnus Takvam, political commentator for the Norwegian broadcasting corporation.
– She memories Left of who they are, so to speak, went to bed with when they went into government. What happens in this relationship, and with the government, it is an open question. But this is at least on the border to self-harm when it comes to this firepartiprosjektet, continues Takvam.
Ulstein: – Hangs not together
Online Hege Ulstein believes the Left only to lose the battle, unless the party goes out of government.
– I think it is difficult for the Left to continue with such harsh criticism of the progress party and at the same time sit in government with them. I believe this also is one reason that they made such a poor choice, ” says Ulstein and continues:

People see that it doesn’t hang completely together when you use so harsh words against a party that you also share the responsibility for the country. I doubt whether this is a good strategy for the Left in the long term. With one important exception and that is if they decide to go out of the government because of these differences.
– do you Think the Left or the Right is going to go out of the government?
– It is a very exciting question. It may well be that both the Left and the Right see that it can be a smart strategy ahead of the parliamentary election in 2021, answer the Ulstein.
She adds that she believes it was more likely that the conservative party should go out of government in the period before bompengeavtalen came into port.

Ulstein think Siv Jensen has the right when she says that it is the internal uroligheten Left that do that this is going now.
– the Left made a very bad choice, and it triggered almost immediately a discussion about the Trine Skei grande’s leadership. Abid Raja is one of them that has challenged her in the past, and that is enough see for themselves that he can be a part of a soon-to-Left direction, ” says Ulstein.
She says Raja is known to be a solospiller, and that Grande now don’t have any choice.
– She can’t go out and reprove him, and she can’t go out and run as hard as he does. She is locked in the position she is now; as a passive spectator to a drama that unfolds between the Raja, right in the conservative party, and party leader Siv Jensen.

Takvam: Many supports Raja
Takvam thinks the premise for Siv Jensen’s criticism of the Grande is that the Left leader really disagree with Raja. It is impossible to know, he believes.
– Regardless of what you think about this ordstriden that have peaked between Abid Raja and Frp, so it is remarkable that a leader accuses another leader of the same government for almost not daring to put your foot down and Abid Raja, in this case, because of an internal power struggle in the Left of the management positions there.
– My impression after talking with a few people Left, even those who are critical to Abid Raja in the first place, is that the vast majority stands behind what he said, says Takvam.
