Concertpianiste Mrs. Onderdenwijngaard during the christmas season, at the age of 93 passed away. The Base Of the Circle, which is partly due to Onderdenwijngaard, in 1979, was founded in Liszts compositions, and to promote the state on Saturday, with a memorial commemorating the death of one of the concertpianiste.
“A remarkable woman, was at the time one of us passed away: Mrs. Onderdenwijngaard, piano, pedagogy, pioneered in the music of Liszt, and a co-founder of the Franz Liszt Kring,” according to the board of directors of The Circle. “And out of her warm, human-interest, a huge life, spiritual, and a firm musical ideas, and will always be in our thoughts and continue to live.”
The most common cause of death from Onderdenwijngaard, it is not to be disclosed.
Onderdenwijngaard was born in The Hague in 1926. In 1949, she was awarded the Elizabeth Evertsprijs, an award for exceptional young talent.
In her professional career came Onderdenwijngaard a lot of Dutch venues, among others, with the conductor Bernard Haitink. She specializes in the music of the Hungarian composer Franz Liszt.
Onderdenwijngaard was an associate professor at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, the netherlands.
