the Graphic designer Vaughan Oliver on Sunday at the age of 62 and died, reports Pitchfork. Oliver has designed several album covers of American rock band Pixies. A cause of death has not been announced.
After studying in Newcastle and went to the graphic designer in the late seventies the founder, Ivo Watts-Russell, of the record label, 4AD, in the true spirit of London and was its first employee. Watts-Russell gave it to Oliver at 4AD, complete artistic freedom.
Oliver has worked closely with the band, including Black Francis of the Pixies. “There are so many images in Pixies songs, it was like being in a dream,” said a British graphic designer, more on that in 2016.
