He was one of the last of the four original actors from the first delivery, in 2005, the series has been. The other three actors are Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey, James Pickens Jr .. (Richard Webber) and Chandra Wilson (Miranda Bailey).
“There’ll never be a good time to say good-bye to a series and a role, which might have been decisive in these last one and a half years of my life,” says the 49-year-old actor in a statement.
“for The last time, I feel like I really need to get some more variety in my roles, and carrièrekeuzes. And, now that I’m fifty-word and have been blessed with an incredible wife and five wonderful children, and that time has come,” said Chambers.
