The University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) is the first hospital in the Netherlands, the echosimulator in the use of it.
Echoscopisten, midwives, and doctors will be able to use it in their training in order to practice it in their life. The use of the echosimulator can lead to a better learning to perform under ultrasound guidance, research with pregnant women, and to identify any possible abnormalities in the fetus.
The university medical center groningen, the simulator is also acquired for the 13-week ultrasound, which as of January 1, 2021, in the Netherlands, is being implemented. This means that, for pregnant women, in addition to all of the existing echoes of moments, an echo-time of after four weeks to recover. With the new system, the number of echoes is set to increase considerably.
