About a third of the workforce deleted
The subsidiary of media group Altice (BFMTV, RMC, RMC Sport, BFM Business, RMC Découverte, RMC Story…) was unveiled on 17 June a comprehensive plan to save and “re-conquest” to face the impact of the crisis of the Covid-19 and increased competition (particularly in sport).

It provides in this framework, delete “330 to 380 CDI and up to 200 freelancers and contract workers”, that is, about one-third of the workforce, on a total of 1600 employees, according to the intersyndicale.
A plan that the trade unions had immediately denounced it, deeming it “this cup drastic incomprehensible” within a group of structurally beneficiary. And they had summoned Tuesday to a general assembly at the group’s headquarters, in Paris, which brought together many employees and approved the principle of a work stoppage.
