This time, while “90%” amateur clubs “have been closed during the containment” and faced a “risk of decline in enrollment” at the beginning, the parliamentarians called for the creation of a “cheque sport to help the poor family to resume licensing” in September, a measure already proposed a few weeks ago by elected representatives of the left, the member Régis Juanico (Generation.s), and the senator PS Jean-Jacques Lozach. To respond to the threat of decreased investment, they advocate also the establishment of a “credit windfall tax on expenditure on sports sponsorship”.
Another measure often demanded by the sector, an uncapping of the taxes allocated to the financing of sport (levies on lottery games, betting of sports betting and television rights) to strengthen the budget of the national Agency for sport, which funds the high-level and practice as an amateur.

In their plan are a number of measures expected in a future law on sport, such as limiting the number of mandates of the presidents of the federation and a “feminization of instances decentralised”. The mps also propose to make mandatory the women’s sections in the professional clubs.
