The huge explosion in the port of Beirut has led to a crater of 43 metres in depth, has indicated this Sunday, a security source in lebanon, citing calculations made by French experts in pyrotechnics deployed in the field.

The blast occurred Tuesday more than 150 deaths and 6000 wounded, while dozens of people are still missing. The explosion “caused a crater of 43 meters deep”, according to the security source.
