On March 21, a psychiatric second opinion concluded that the main suspect in Lola’s murder was fit to be tried at the assizes.
The 31-page report paves the way for a trial. A psychological counter-analysis concluded that the main suspect in Lola’s murder, Dahbia B., was not “suffered, at the time of the events, from a psychological disorder having abolished or altered her discernment and control of her actions” , reports BFMTV, which specifies that this means that the young woman “can answer for her actions before a court”.
This new study was carried out by two experts commissioned by the investigating judge, who met the suspect three times during 2023, during her pre-trial detention. The conclusion confirms the analysis of the first psychiatric expertise carried out in December 2022, a few weeks after the murder.
The murder of Lola, a 12-year-old schoolgirl, moved France by the atrocity in which it took place. The body of the teenager was found on October 14, 2022 in a trunk, in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. He bore marks of torture and rape. The first examinations even revealed that the alleged murderer had suffocated Lola. Investigations quickly led to the arrest of Dahbia B.
