The so-called Swindler is out.

Simon Leviev is the “Tinder Swindler” accused of swindling multiple women out of hundreds and thousands of dollars. He will speak out in a two-part interview with Inside.

Inside Edition released a preview in which Simon stated that he isn’t a Tinder Swindler but that he “just wanted to meet some girls via Tinder” and that he “is not this monster.”

Inside Edition also revealed a glimpse at Simon’s “new girlfriend”, teasing that this reveal-all will show “why she is sticking by him.” The interview’s first part will be released on Monday, February 21 and the second on Tuesday, February 22.

Simon is speaking for the first time since Netflix’s documentary Tinder Swindler. However, it will not be his last. E! was told by a source. E! News was informed by a source that Simon is currently working on a web dating show and has hired Gina Rodriguez to be his talent manager.

Gina’s verified Instagram account posted a TMZ video on her Story. It reported that Simon wants to be a “star in a relationship show” and “host a dating podcast.”

 

Simon was not charged with any of the crimes related to the allegations in the documentary. He was accused of swindling multiple women into opening credit card accounts for him under the false premise that he was in danger. Simon, his victims claimed that he was the son of Lev Leviev an Israeli diamond magnate.

Simon was released from Israeli prison in May 2020 after he had served five months of a fifteen-month sentence for unrelated fraud charges. According to the Times of Israel, Simon’s release was made to lessen the spread of COVID in prison inmates.

Simon is now out of Israeli prison. However, he found himself in dating-app purgatory. E! was informed by a spokesperson for Tinder. E! “He is permanently barred from Tinder. We conducted further internal investigations before the publication of the documentary and we can confirm that Simon Leviev isn’t active on Tinder under any of the known aliases.

Simon had previously denied wrongdoing, in a voice memo. It was broadcast in the Netflix special. Simon stated, “I will proceed to the lawsuit against you because discrimination and lies and, as you know, everything is based basically upon a lie… That’s it, that’s how it’s going to be.”
