Dolores Catania may have ended her relationship with David Principe, Vanessa Moretto’s ex-boyfriend — who has an interesting connection with Real Housewives of New Jersey — but Us Weekly exclusively learned from a source that the reality star is happy with the new couple.
The insider revealed that Dolores doesn’t know Vanessa and has no knowledge of David’s relationship to her. He also said that Dolores (51) wishes David the “best” since their separation. He is the one who has been separating from her since the summer.
According to the source, the philanthropist seems “very happy” in her new relationship with boyfriend Paul Connell. She has “moved forward” from David.
After they began dating in 2017, the romance between Bravo personalities was discussed on RHONJ. Dolores’ former costars asked if David was ready to make a commitment, as the couple drifted apart. Us confirmed Dolores’ split in December 2021.
The insider said that there was no bad blood between them, adding that the ROJ star didn’t mind being proposed to while they were together. She gave everything she had, but David didn’t give her the same. He was absent from her social life and seldom attended events with her. They had very different lives and couldn’t make it work.
