Will Hurt confirmed Hurt’s passing and also revealed the cause of his death. “It is with great sorrow that the Hurt family mourns William Hurt’s passing, beloved father, and Oscar-winning actor on March 13, 2022. This was one week before Hurt’s 72nd birthday. According to Deadline, Hurt’s 31-year-old son shared his father’s peaceful death from natural causes. “The family requests privacy at the moment.”

He was a star in Amazon’s Goliath and appeared in the January 2022 movie The King’s Daughter.

He was also the star of some of the most successful movies, as well as his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He played the role of General Thaddeus Ross (or Thunderbolt) in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. In 2016, Ross was the new Secretary-of-State in Captain America Civil War. After appearing in 2018’s Avengers Infinity War, and 2019’s Avengers Endgame, Ross made his last appearance in last year’s Black Widow.
