However, Gunn is harder to book due to his involvement in Guardians of the Galaxy with his brother, director James Gunn.
The six-time Emmy winner jokingly said, “He’s got Marvel movies and they go on forever-f-kingever.” Like, they just go one to the next and it’s his brothers. We can’t say “F-k that guy” because it’s James’ family and he is great. He’s been a difficult one for us.”
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will finish with season 5. There are very few opportunities to bring in new faces, and the filming is already underway. The end of Midge’s journey may leave time for another Gilmore Girls revival, but Sherman-Palladino cautioned that there are many other factors that could influence that decision.

Lauren is returning to The Mighty Ducks, while Alexis [Bledel] will be off in Alexis’ world, doing Handmaid’s Tale, raising children, and being, well, stunning. Kelly Bishop’s show has just been picked up. It’s time to move to Chicago. Yeah. It’s almost like everyone’s working, which can be annoying for us but wonderful for them.
She said, “It sounds like bulls-t at the moment because I keep saying that it,” but she noted that she would join a second Gilmore Girls revival if she knew the cast could get together.
