Longoria expressed an interest in reuniting her fellow housewives five years after the finale. She told NewBeauty December 2017 that she misses it “every day”.

She said, “I miss Gaby. It was a great set. It’s everything I miss.”

Some of the cast regrouped in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic of April 2020. This caused a greater outcry for a revival of the drama.

During the video chat, the Devious Maids alum said that “We were a true comedy.” “We were always a joke, then gravity would take your by surprise. That’s what I loved most about the show — that we could do two things.”

Longoria said, “We have all made these incredible friendships outside of the show that will last forever.”

Cherry suggested that a reboot might be possible one day, but only if it felt natural.

He said that he had a chance to work with the original cast of Desperate Housewives and that he had something to share with the show in November 2021. “I would need to have a new idea about what fuelled it if I were to reboot it. It is a formula I am familiar with, but it would be great to have more money and time to test it.

Teri Hatcher

Since Desperate Housewives ended, Hatcher has been quiet. In 2013, she had a role as a voice actor in the Disney movie Planes. The sequel was Planes: Fire & Rescue. She also appeared on recurring roles on The Odd Couple and Supergirl. She also has a passion for cooking, and was the winner of a holiday episode on Chopped. In January 2018, she launched “Hatching Change,” a YouTube channel that helps people make positive changes in their lives, health, and attitude.

Hatcher shares Emerson with her ex-husband Jon Tenney.

Felicity Huffman

Huffman was inspired by Lynette and starred in a number of independent films before she joined the cast of American Crime. She starred in When they See Us, as Linda Fairstein, a real-life prosecutor.

Huffman was the subject of headlines when she was detained for her role in , the national college admissions scandal. After pleading guilty to $15,000 in SAT scoring enhancements for her eldest child Sophia, Huffman was sentenced to 14 days federal prison. New York native completed her sentence in prison in October 2019. She then began 250 hours of community service. She also shares a daughter, Georgia, with husband William H. Macy.

ABC announced in November 2020 that Huffman would resume acting as lead in the pilot project for the Sacramento River Cats.

Marcia Cross

Cross appeared in an episode in Law & Order Special Victims Unit after a short career hiatus. Later, she joined the cast in Quantico. In 2021, she guest starred in season 3 on You.

In June 2019, the actress, who has twin daughters Eden and Savannah, with husband Tom Mahoney announced that she had anal carcinoma. She is now in remission.

Eva Longoria

Since Desperate Housewives ended, Longoria has been featured in numerous high-profile campaigns and ads. From 2013 to 2016, she was a judge for Food Network Star and produced Devious Maids. Longoria was also a guest on Empire and Grand Hotel. The latter she produced. In 2018, she also starred in the films Dog Days and Overboard.

In July 2020 she joined Natalie Portman and other female celebrities to bring a women’s soccer team to Los Angeles. In the same year, she was featured in the Amazon Prime Video movie Sylvie’s Love and in 2021, she voiced the animated feature the Boss Baby : Family Business.

In 2016, she married Jose Baston and two years later, welcomed Santiago.

Nicollette Sheridan

Sheridan was forced to leave Desperate Housewives after a turbulent exit. In 2010, she filed a $20 million lawsuit against Cherry, ABC and her creator. She claimed that Cherry had assaulted her and wrongfully terminated the contract. The case was dismissed two years later. From 2018 to 2019, she was a star on The CW’s Dynasty revival. After nearly three years of marriage, Sheridan divorced Aaron Phypers.

Dana Delany

Since the ABC series’ final, Delany has been busy. Recent credits onscreen include Body of Proof and Hand of God as well as The Comedians, The Code, and The American Guest mini-series. In 2016, she was also the host of the Television Academy Honors 2011 and guest host on Turner Classic Movies 2016.
