Sergio Pérez (Red Bull) set the fastest time in the 3rd free practice session of the Monaco Grand Prix, 7th round of the Formula 1 World Championship, on Saturday in Monte-Carlo. The Mexican shot in 1’12”476, with only 0”041 ahead of the child of the country, the Monegasque Charles Leclerc (Ferrari).

Under the sun and in the heat of Monaco, the strong man of the day on Friday was definitely taken the better by Pérez during the last seconds of this last practice session before qualifying. Behind, the other driver of the Scuderia, the Spaniard Carlos Sainz sets the 3rd time, followed by the leader in the championship, the Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red Bull), who does not manage to take over his competitors.

Frenchman Pierre Gasly (AlphaTauri), in great shape since the start of the weekend, completes the top 5 best times. The Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell set the 7th and 9th times respectively, far ahead of the other Frenchman on the track Esteban Ocon (Alpine), only 17th at the end of the session, more than a second and a half by Leclerc.
