Words that are sure to cause a stir within the football world. Bayern Munich’s prolific Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, twice Fifa 2020 and 2021 best player, said on Monday that his “story” with the German club had “come to an end”.
“One thing is certain today: my story with Bayern has come to an end,” said the 33-year-old international during a press conference with the Polish selection, without giving any indication of his future. In eight seasons, he scored 344 goals for Bayern.
