Roland-Garros: Tsitsipas admits having been “nervous”

Surprised 7-5, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 by the Dane Holger Rune (19 years old, 40th in the world), Stefanos Tsitsipas, finalist for the 2021 edition, disappeared in the round of 16. In a press conference, the Greek pointed out: “The last few days I had a hard time finding my rhythm, I was nervous on the pitch, very frustrated. I knew I was like that and that I shouldn’t, but I couldn’t help myself, especially because there were some changes in terms of equipment. I can’t blame the gear entirely, because it’s a choice I made to improve and progress.
