Going back to your old club, it happens. But not just a year after leaving for €113m. Inter Milan have sounded out Romelu Lukaku’s agent over the ‘feasibility’ of a return, Sky Sport Italia reveal. The Belgian striker, in conflict with his coach Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea, said he left against his will last year. Inter, then crowned champion of Italy, had sold it to relieve finances in the red. The Nerazzurri leaders are expected to meet Lukaku’s (29) agent on Tuesday. There has reportedly been no direct contact between Inter and Chelsea yet, where Lukaku has ‘only’ scored 15 goals in 44 appearances this season.

The English club had recruited Raphinha for just under 20 M at Stade Rennais in the summer of 2020. Raphinha would be very inclined to join Barça, but his arrival would depend on Ousmane Dembélé, at the end of the contract on June 30. If the Frenchman leaves, then Barca should speed up negotiations with Leeds.

In the doldrums of the Girondins de Bordeaux, relegated to Ligue 2, Sékou Mara was able to pull out of the game. The 19-year-old striker scored 5 goals in the last 7 Ligue 1 matches, confirming a potential that took him up to the France U23 team. Foot Mercato reports that AS Monaco “is seduced” by the young Bordelais, and that Marseille and Montpellier have also observed him, in addition to the German clubs of Friborg and Werder Bremen. Last week, 20 Minutes assured that Lyon, Lens and Reims were also on the lookout, in addition to Cologne and Bayer Leverkusen, still in Germany.
