Travis Barker Shares Rare Pic of His and Kourtney Kardashian’s Son Rocky on Mother’s Day
Kourtney Kardashian is all about that one-day work week life. Ever since her and Travis Barker’s little one, Rocky Barker, entered the world in November 2023, the reality TV star has been prioritizing family time over work. In a recent episode of her podcast Khloe in Wonderland, Kourtney opened up to her sister Khloe Kardashian about her newfound motherly role and how it’s shifted her focus from work to spending quality time with her kids.
Not really sure why this matters, but Kourtney mentioned that she only works one day a week, and even then, it’s only for a couple of hours. She expressed how being a mom again rekindled her passion for motherhood and led her to make the choice to stay home with her children. This change in priorities came after a long fertility journey that included failed IVF cycles and three egg retrievals before conceiving Rocky naturally. Kourtney revealed that the IVF process made her feel like it was going against everything she believed in and left her feeling rejected on multiple levels.
Navigating a “new family dynamic” with Travis and their combined seven children has been an adjustment for Kourtney. From family gatherings with friends to quiet days at home with just Travis and the baby, Kourtney and Travis are finding their rhythm as parents. Kourtney also shared her love for being a stepmom to Travis’ kids and emphasized the importance of communication and teamwork in co-parenting with Travis. Their blended family seems to have found a balance that works for everyone involved, and Kourtney is grateful for the opportunity to support and be there for all the children in whatever capacity they need.
